How To Cook The Perfect Rice

Cooking rice can be lots of fun. Perfecting your skill at cooking rice is possible. Rice may be cooked by different method.,  All rices cooking  requires a different proportion of water. These methods involves either boiling, which requires a lot more water than rice.  There is also a method in steaming your rice.  Whichever of these methods you use, depends on the rice grains yo choose in order for the rice to be properly cooked.  To prevent your rice from having a pasty appearance like cereal try not to over cook your rice, or add too much water. you do not want to stir your rice too much in the cooking process or nor should it be cooked too long.

BOILED RICE 

Boiling rice  is about the simplest way.  Properly boiled rice not only forms a valuable dish itself, but is an excellent foundation for other dishes that may be served at any meal.

Remember to wash you rice carefully and add it to the boiling salted water. Boil rapidly until the  Drain the cooked rice through a colander, and then pour cold water over the rice in the colander, so as to wash out the loose starch and leave each grain distinct. Reheat the rice and serve hot with butter, gravy, or cream.

STEAMED RICE 

Wash the rice carefully and add it to the boiling salted water. Cook it for 5 minutes and then place it in a double boiler and allow it to cook until it is soft. Keep the cooking utensil covered and do not stir the rice.
